JANINA BEY

At the age of 20 Janina Beyerlein aka JANINA BEY has already seen a lot of the world. Born in Munich as the daughter of a German and a Filipino woman, grew up in Dubai, her life has always been shaped by international influences and music.

As a passionate singer and dancer, she begins to dance professionally hip-hop and freestyle in Dubai, and gathers first band experiences at the German International School Dubai. Back in Germany she will be part of the Munich Riddim Dance School, with which she will take part in the 2018 “World Of Dance”, the largest international urban dance competition in Berlin.

At the age of 17, she was on stage in the seventh season of the talent show “The Voice of Germany” in 2017, where she made it to the semi-finals with Team Samu Haber. In 2020 she will return as an all star for the 10th season of the show and can be seen in the Nico Santos team in three more episodes.

In the summer of 2020 she will release her first own single as JANINA BEY with “So What”, with which she will reach almost half a million streams without a label in the background. With her new single “What About You” she wants to build on this success and go one step further:

“I’ve always been a big fan of RnB artists like Chris Brown, Beyonce, J-Lo & Co. Unfortunately, there are far too few German artists who work in this international sound, which is why I want to show the world that Urban is also in Germany works! ”

How well this works is also shown by her new single “What About You”, which was released on June 18. appears. In the accompanying video, Janina Bey shows once again that, in addition to her voice, she also convinces as a dancer – and that she can easily keep up with the big pop stars from all over the world.

The artist is currently working on the production of further songs with her producers in the studio; a next single is planned for autumn 2021.
