- Born in Berlin in the 1980s, the son of a Colombian singer and a German kindergarten teacher learned to drum at the age of 6 and played in various bands throughout his childhood and youth.
- In 2001, he joined Culcha Candela as drummer, contributing hooks and song ideas to hits like “Hamma!”, “Ey Dj,” “Eiskalt,” and “Monsta.” The band won multiple platinum and gold records, sold over two million records, and toured the world.
- In 2014, Larsito left the band and started a new beginning.
- For his first solo album, “Something Remains,” he traveled to Colombia and Cuba and recorded songs with Amadito Valdés from Buena Vista Social Club and Totó la Momposina.
- His first solo single “Unter diesen Wolken” (Under These Clouds) reached the top 70 of the German radio charts.
- Further EPs and singles followed, including the reggaeton pop single “Si es amor” with 16 million views on YouTube.
