CLAUDIA KURVER “Wo Ist Die Zeit”

Claudia Kurver was the frontwoman of the metal band “Mental Defect”, which inspired the scene from 2008 to 2016 with their albums “Longplayer” and “Lost in the Sense of Time”. After that she became known together with the musician and multimedia artist Liss Eulenherz as the dark synth pop duo “Sonorus7”, whose first single “Wasteland” won the band contest of the music magazine “Sonic Seducer” in 2018. Now the Leipzig native is getting her solo project going with the upcoming album “Leichtmetall” (release November 3rd, 2023), in which hard rock attitudes meet German pop music. A flaming mix that also reveals a lot about the personality of this musical all-rounder, because pigeonholing is not her thing. Together with the producers Michael Danielak and Frank Kühnlein from OneVision Music (including Jini Meyer and Extrabreit), Claudia’s vision of mixing (hard) rock and pop and garnishing the whole thing with German lyrics has been implemented since 2021. In her songs, Claudia processes personal experiences and feelings in a direct way. With the single “Wo ist die Zeit” (release August 18th, 2023) she deals with the uncomfortable feeling of getting older and hits the nerve of Generation X and Millennials in terms of content and music, to which she also belongs.
